It happens again every year: during the early summer months, Gartner publishes the Magic Quadrant of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers, and for the eighth year in a row, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is once again the clear leader. Paranor already started experimenting with AWS services early on. We have been running applications on AWS for several years, and since 2018 we have been a partner of AWS.
Partnership: Amazon Web Services
Today, using the word “cloud” synonymously for “Infrastructure-as-a-Service” really doesn’t cover everything. AWS in particular offers an incredible number of cloud services on top of the classic IaaS area: platforms for virtual and augmented reality, IoT services, machine learning and a 3D game engine are just a few examples. It can get difficult to stay on top of things and choose the right service.
As a long-term user and current partner, Paranor has an overview of all the phases of cloud use:
- Business professionals for navigating the use of AWS
- Solution architects for planning the solution
- AWS engineers for building and looking after the solution
- Certified developers for optimising coordination between the application and AWS
